Regenera is an innovative footprint management service that measures your carbon footprint, offsets it through local carbon sequestration and avoided deforestation actions, and transfers 60% of revenues to local communities who have agreed to protect forests. The carbon neutral agreement with Rainforest Expeditions covers 100% of the emissions of the day-to-day operations of their lodges, their offices in Puerto Maldonado, as well as transport of all fixed staff, since the beginning of 2016.

Rainforest Expeditions and Nature Services Peru, the B-certified social enterprise behind Regenera, will now explore how to make visiting Rainforest Expedition’s lodges a carbon neutral experience for all those travellers who would like to compensate their travel emissions, and thereby support conservation actions in Tambopata.
